United After 21-Year Old Argentine?

It is believed that Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to add to his attacking options this January. One of the players being linked with a move to Old Trafford is 21-year old Angel Fabian di Maria.

The Argentine currently plays for Portuguese side Benfica. His International coach Diego Maradona has high hopes for him, he has labelled Di Maria as the ‘Argentina’s next superstar’.

Di Maria has made 51 appearances for Benfica, scoring 17 goals (according to wikipedia) and United are ready to table a £12 million bid.

I haven’t seen mucEverton 2-0 at Goodison Parkh of the player but I did watch Benfica’s beat  earlier this year and he did look like a decent player. Whether or not he can adapt to the English game is a different story.
