Sir Alex Won't Spend Big

Soccer: Training - Manchester United May 20

We may be gradually getting closer and closer to the January transfer window but don’t expect too much. Man United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he will not spend over inflated prices during the window.

Speaking to The Mail On Sunday, Sir Alex said: "I would like to do business, but only if the prices are right - and that can be a problem in January".

Man United have been linked with a whole load of big names including West Ham’s Carlton Cole, Benfica’s Angel Fabian di Maria, Valencia’s David Villa and David Silva along with many more.

This shouldn’t really be much of a surprise to Man United fans, Sir Alex doesn’t really spend big during the January transfer window. We might get one or two younger player’s but I am not expecting much.
